Increase Fertility

Pregnancy Tips - Get Pregnant Fast
Written By Sandra Smith

The process of getting pregnant can be quite a challenge for some couples. Numerous factors play a part in determining how fast or even if a couple will conceive a child. But, you should know that there are a number of strategies that you can implement to significantly boost your chances. Fertility is not beyond your control; you just need to know how to assist your body in the reproductive process.

Tip #1 - Engage in Sex Daily

Ovulation is the only period in which you can become pregnant, but many women misunderstand this truth to mean that they should only try to conceive during that period. This is a reasonable theory, but the truth is that no woman can precisely predict when she will ovulate. While it is often said that two weeks after your most recent period is when you will probably ovulate, this is by no means an accurate predictor of your most fertile period of the month. So, in order to cover your bases, try to have sex frequently. If you and your partner engage in sexual activities around three times per month, then you can significantly boost your chances of getting pregnant.

Tip #2 - Consult Your Doctor

Occasionally, women will try for months to get pregnant without luck. What these women may not know is that the cause of their problems may lie with an infection of the reproductive system. A woman's ability to conceive a child can be greatly affected by infections or sexually transmitted diseases. Left untreated, these infections can cause serious damage to the ovaries and a woman's fertility. If you are having issues conceiving after six months of trying, consider consulting your physician to ensure that your reproductive system is in top notch health.

Tip #3 - Avoid Tobacco and Alcohol

While this may seem like an obvious statement, the reality is that some women do not realize the extent to which alcohol and tobacco negatively affects their reproductive systems. Regularly engaging in such activities decreases your fertility dramatically. Moreover, if you do become pregnant and continue to drink or smoke, you are putting your unborn child in serious risk of harm.

Tip #4 - Have Enjoyable Sex

In recent years, many specialists and researchers have promoted the notion that a woman's mood during sex can influence her fertility. While this is not a solid fact, it doesn't hurt to make your next romantic moment as enjoyable as possible. Rather than simply trying to conceive, enjoy the moment and you may discover that your state of mind helps your fertility.

Tip #5 - Don't Give Up

The majority of ladies trying to conceive are likely to conceive within the first year. But, you should not feel bad or apprehensive if you are not in this majority. There are many different ways to treat potential infertility issues, so have a talk with your physician and plan out a method to boost your chances.

That being said, keep these tips in mind the next time you and your spouse try to have a child, and you should absolutely increase your chances of getting pregnant!
